Prof. Yangmo Yoo, CEO and founder of Edgecare Inc., has a distinguished 20-year career in biomedical engineering and medical technology. He has worked on ultrasound research with GE Healthcare, Samsung Healthcare, and Siemens, and currently serves as a professor and head of the Bioengineering Research Center at Sogang University. Additionally, he is a prominent member of the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety's medical device committee and holds leadership positions in academic societies like the Korean Society for Ultrasound Medical Devices.

With a background as an Ultrasound Systems Design Engineer at Philips Healthcare, Prof. Yoo earned his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Washington, where he also completed a technology commercialization course. He holds a master's in Electronic Engineering from Sogang University. Prof. Yoo's extensive contributions to the field are highlighted by his involvement in over 150 ultrasound technology patents.

Dr. Jungjoon Kim is the dynamic leader of Edgecare Inc.’s R&D team, known for his innovative approach and extensive experience in the medical technology industry. Prior to Edgecare, he was a Senior Engineer at Alpinion Medical Systems, contributing significantly to their ultrasound technology. At Rayence, he advanced X-ray system development, and as a Senior Researcher at Samsung Electronics' HME team, he brought crucial expertise.

Dr. Kim holds both a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from Sogang University, where he also served as a research professor. His blend of academic and industrial experience underscores his commitment to technological innovation in medical systems.

Steve Won is instrumental in formulating global marketing and sales strategies at Edgecare, driving business goals and commercial success. His extensive experience in the medical industry includes key roles at Careplus, Samsung Medison, Philips, GE Healthcare, and Zimmer. Specializing in global marketing, sales management, and new business development, Steve has a proven track record in both domestic and international markets.

Before joining Edgecare, he led Careplus' sales team, significantly contributing to its growth in the domestic market, and managed global marketing communications at Samsung Medison. Steve earned a Master's degree in Industrial Administration from Purdue University's Krannert School of Management, completing an intensive one-year MBA program. He also completed Purdue's Biomedship program, focusing on medical device start-up training.
